During their E3 2012 presentation, Microsoft unveiled two new games that will be arriving to Xbox 360, named LocoCycle and Matter.

Twisted Pixel is the developer of LocoCycle, a game that was described in the trailer as a school for assassins that features over 40 non-weapon combat techniques. However, the trailer just featured multiple angles of a glowing bike, so the trailer leaves more questions than answers.

The other game, titled Matter, was shown in the trailer as a silver metal ball navigating its way through Portal-like settings. At the end of the trailer, it was mentioned that Matter was for Kinect, so whether Kinect is mandatory for the game is unknown.

During Microsoft’s E3 2012 presentation, Microsoft announced that they had partnered with Nike to bring an all new game to the Xbox 360 named Nike+ Kinect Training. The game is described as a revolutionary way to achieve fitness, with personal results customized just for the player. Every 4 weeks, players will also receive an update with how they are doing in terms of reaching their exercise goals. It was announced that Tiger Woods PGA Tour 12 for the Xbox 360 will receive an update for the Kinect that will let players stand sideways when they swing their “golf club”. The update is going to be released on April 20, 2012, and will end the harsh criticism from players complaining about swinging parallel to their TV. However, nothing was announced about a PS Move update. Tiger Woods PGA Tour 12 is now available on all consoles. Are you excited about this Kinect update from EA?

Bethesda has announced that it will be adding Kinect support to the Xbox 360 version of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. The new Kinect integration will include over 200 voice commands and other various features. The Kinect support will be added via a free update to the game. It was announced that Dragon Ball Z will be heading to Kinect for the Xbox 360. The game will be played entirely in first-person mode, as you emulate famous scenes and battles from the famous manga and anime series. There will be over 50 playable characters and over 100 commands that the Kinect will recognize. Dragon Ball Z for Kinect will be coming out in October 2012 in the US and Europe. Lionhead Studios has released the box art for their upcoming game Fable: The Journey. The game comes out 2012 exclusively for the Xbox 360. What do you guys think about the box art?

Capcom has released a brand new trailer of their upcoming game Steel Battalion: Heavy Armor. The trailer shows how various Kinect controls are implemented in to the game. Steel Battalion: Heavy Armor requires a Kinect sensor, and will come out June 19th, 2012 exclusively for the Xbox 360. What do you guys think about this new trailer from Capcom?

It has been reported to VG247 that the next generation Xbox will arrive around Christmas 2013, come with a Blu-ray drive, and have a dual GPU, along with a four to six core CPU. It is also rumored that the next generation Xbox will come with a built in Kinect sensor. All of this is contrary to Microsoft, with Ryan James, Group PR Manager for Micrsoft saying,

Microsoft has announced that Kinect is on its way to Windows. It was revealed in an MSDN blog post by Microsoft’s Craig Eisler that Kinect will be heading to Windows in 2012. Eisler explains that over 200 companies will be participating in this program, saying,

“Currently, we have more than 200 companies taking part in our pilot program. They are telling us how Kinect for Windows will help them transform their products, their processes, their brands, and their businesses. Putting the power of Kinect + Windows into the hands of business leaders and technical visionaries will give them the tools they need to develop novel solutions for everything from training employees to visualizing data, from configuring a car to managing an assembly line.”
