Brand new gameplay trailers of Assassin’s Creed III were unveiled during multiple events at E3 2012. The first trailer was shown by Ubisoft, which is the official E3 2012 trailer, and the second trailer was shown at the PlayStation presentation, and shows naval battles that players can engage in during the game.

Assassin’s Creed III is the first Assassin’s Creed game to take place in North America, and players follow the story of Connor trying to kill Templars, while British soldiers get in his way during the Revolutionary War.

Assassin’s Creed writer Matt Turner commented on fans wanting to see more of Desmond in Assassin’s Creed III, saying,

“It’s a big part of our story and I don’t really want to give too many details away because I want people to experience what that is. But rest assured, you’re going to see a lot of Desmond. More so than in any past game.”

Hopefully, this means we get to see more original content from Desmond than his interactions in the animus. The question is, will more of Desmond be more fun in the upcoming Assassin’s Creed III?
